Community Art Grants

Community Arts Grants provide support to community-based organizations, groups, collectives or artists in Wyoming and Allegany counties for arts and cultural projects in their communities. Grants can fund exhibitions, performances, concerts, festivals, demonstrations and workshops, screenings, readings, and more!

Community Arts Grants: Guidelines and Application

To be eligible to apply for a Community Arts grant or to be a sponsor for an artist or artist group, applicants must be non-profit organizations based in Allegany or Wyoming County, New York. Community Arts Grants funded activity must take place within the same county as the applicant’s address. For sponsored individual artists or artist groups, the lead applicant applying to any category must be a current New York State resident and must reside in the county where their proposed project will take place.

Applicants may submit up to three requests in any combination of Community Arts Grants categories (Community Arts, Individual Artist, and/or Arts Education) totaling no more than $5,000.

This is a competitive process. All applications are extensively evaluated according to the criteria and priorities. Refer to the Community Arts Grants Application Guidelines document, below, for more information and for detailed application instructions:
