Marigold Natural Dye Workshop for Beginners + Intermediate Dyers

Workshop Details

Schedule: Friday, 5pm – 7pm

Description: Marigolds are easy to cultivate and useful for creating a palette which can dye a multitude of fiber types. In this 2 hour evening workshop, attendees will be guided to sample shibori techniques for creating contrast and use plant materials for botanical prints on silk and cotton. It is a great jumping off point if you are a beginner, or an easy way to add to your dye skills repertoire by discovering new hues with modifiers and techniques. Participants will go home with their hand-dyed kerchiefs and tea towels.
