Craft one, Write Too

Workshop Details

Schedule: Sat 10a – 12pm
Length: 2 Hours
Ticket: $32

Description: This early morning workshop will offer participants a chance to reflect and write about their “crafty” lives and get their creative juices flowing. We will have time to write and share our work with each other in a supportive atmosphere. All types – fiction, memoir, journaling to name a few styles – are welcome. The goal is to “put pen to paper” or “fingers to computer” to get creativity flowing.

*Workshop ticketing will include an additional $1, as a donation to the Arts Council of Wyoming County. This donation supports rural arts and artists working in your communities. This donation will be added to your transaction at checkout and is non-refundable. Thank for being a patron of the arts!

Classes requires a minimum number of students to run, as set by your instructor. If this class is canceled, the call to cancel and refund will be made 48 hours prior. Workshops are non-refundable except in cases where the class is canceled by ACWC. They may be transferred.

Bio:Polly Stapley is a writer, educator and retired librarian.who enjoys sharing the writing process. She was a second place winner in the Genesee Valley Council of the Arts New Deal Writing Competition brings her own experience as a teacher, working writer and student Writers and Books in Rochester to the “weaving of the words” for this year’s Saturday morning at Fiber Flurry. Start the morning with coffee and creative exercises, then enjoy the rest of what the day has to offer.
