Cooperativa las Cazuelas (The Casserole Cooperative) is a women-led co-op that offers homemade Mexican popup dinners monthly in Geneseo, NY. They return this summer to the Perry Farmers Market to give demonstrations and samples of fresh, delicious Mexican foods. GLOW Traditions will accompany them with sales of a new cookbook from the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts, Stories That Cook: Art, Memories, and Recipes. The book is the result of a two-year project that collected recipes and stories from our agricultural community, stretching from generational farm families to newer farmworkers. It also features artwork created by members of the community.
