The Gilly Burlingham Challenge: $50K for 50 Years

As the Arts Council for Wyoming County (ACWC) celebrates 50 years of bringing art to the people and people to the arts, we are honored to announce a special opportunity to strengthen our future while honoring our beginnings.
In recognition of both Gilly Burlingham’s 100th birthday on May 17, 2026, and ACWC’s 50th anniversary, The Helen Floy Glenn Burlingham Trust has created The Gilly Burlingham Challenge. A $25,000 matching gift that invites our community to come together to raise $50,000 for 50 years of supporting the arts in Wyoming County.
From now through May 26, 2026, every dollar you donate will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your impact. Your generosity will help us preserve and enhance our historic Main Street home, expand access, develop new programs, and ensure ACWC remains a welcoming creative hub for generations to come. The Burlingham Challenge is more than a fundraiser; it’s a promise to bring art to the people and people to the arts, continuing the work that began fifty years ago.
