ACWC 2024 Concert Series: An Evening with pianist Dan Saunders, assistant conductor for The Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

An Evening with Pianist Dan Saunders kicks off the ACWC’s 2024 concert series on Monday, July 22, at 7 PM. We are delighted to welcome back this Perry native to the ACWC’s stage for another concert! Dan is currently an assistant conductor for the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. He is also an in-demand pianist who has performed on the world stage with such luminaries as Jessye Norman, Kiri TeKanawa, Kathleen Battle, Tatiana Troyanos and Dimitri Hvorostovsky; more recently in NY’s Central Park with Grammy Award winning artist Latonia Moore and Angel Blue. Dan has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, the White House, as well as concert halls in London, Paris and Tokyo. Chopin, Debussy, Schumann, Bach and others are included in the list of composers that will be featured at this concert.
