Finca La Abundancia LLC is a regenerative fiber farm in Bloomfield, NY. We are shepherds, crafters and land stewards in a dance of reciprocity with our flock. We value wool for its beauty and utility, and as such we maintain a diversity of color and fleece-types; whether for felting, lustre, durability, or next-to-skin softness. In addition to our registered Finnsheep, we keep purpose-driven fiber crosses, and have a small breeding program to develop dairy sheep with a handspinner’s quality fleece (yes, really!) We offer locally produced yarns in natural colors, batting, roving and occasional hand-woven pieces. We enjoy wet-felting and create handcrafted hats, clothing and other useful items from felt. This year we’re excited to offer 100% wool sweaters and vests from our flock! So come say hi and feel the fiber– we’d love to tell you more about our sheep!
