Wet Felted Small Vessel

April 26 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
$50.00

Learn the art of and technique of wet felting by creating a small felted vessel with Roycroft Artisan, Suzanne O’Brien. Suzanne will take you through the step by step process of creating quality felt while you create a small version of her larger vessel types. Examples of further projects created with this technique will be brought to class. Students will leave with their completed tiny vessel and full color instructions on what was learned in class. The class fee includes: hand-on instruction and guidance, use of instructor’s special felting tools, superfine merino wool, resist material, soap, bubble wrap, and full-color tutorial.

Instructor: Suzanne O’Brien
Level:Beginners
Age:
Adult (16+)
Category: Felt
Additional supplies needed from students: An old bath towel, and possibly and apron to catch drippy water. Wet felting can be very wet and soapy at times, so it’s best to be prepared!
