Intarsia Knitting

“Intarsia” knitting takes its name from the inlaid images of woodworking. In knitting, intarsia is worked using just one yarn at a time, which is linked with the yarns used on either side of the inlaid image. The method used to link yarns together is super-simple, which means that intarsia knitting can be used to make elaborately complex images in your knitting! This same, intuitive method even works magically when knitting in the round! Come find out how easy and fun it is to add stars, flowers, and lightning bolts to your socks, hats, and mittens! Students must have prior experience working in the round.
