SUMMARY:Pieces of Perry En Plein Air Paint-Out
DESCRIPTION:Friday–Sunday\, September 25–27\, 2026\nPerry\, New York\nPieces of Perry invites artists to spend a weekend painting en plein air throughout Perry and the surrounding area. Artists of all experience levels are welcome to participate.\nArtwork created during the Paint-Out will be exhibited at the Arts Council for Wyoming County following the event.\n\nImportant Dates:\nEnd of August 2026\nArtist registration opens.\nSeptember 25–27\, 2026\nPieces of Perry En Plein Air Paint-Out.\nNovember 6\, 2026\nClosing reception and auction. \nAll work needs to be dropped by the Arts Council by 4 pm to hang wet Sunday\, exhibit runs from September 27th -awards and auction November 6th\, 5-8 pm \n\nREGISTRATION OPTIONS \nPaint-Out Artist Registration — $20 (Tickets Below)\nThe $20 artist registration fee provides participation in the Pieces of Perry Paint-Out and helps fund artist prizes and awards.\nRegistration includes: \n\nParticipation in the September 25–27 Paint-Out\nOfficial stamping of painting surfaces\nEligibility to submit completed Pieces of Perry artwork for the exhibition\nEligibility for Pieces of Perry prizes and awards\nParticipation in the exhibition and associated sales/auction opportunities\n\nArtists participating in Sandra Tyler’s workshop do not need to purchase this registration separately. Paint-Out registration is included with the workshop \nPlein Air Watercolor Workshop with Sandra Tyler – $40 (Tickets below)\nSaturday\, September 26\, 2026\n10:00 AM–4:00 PM\nWorkshop Fee: $40 \nThe workshop begins at 10:00 AM with a watercolor demonstration in the Arts Council classroom. \nFollowing the demonstration\, participants will head outside to paint en plein air and put Sandra’s techniques into practice.\nAt 1:00 PM\, participants will have a lunch break at the Arts Council. Artists may stay at the Arts Council to eat and take a break from the weather or pick up their lunch and head back outside to continue painting. \nAt 4:00 PM\, workshop participants will reconvene for a group critique with Sandra to review the day’s work\, discuss the painting experience\, and receive feedback. \n\n$40 Workshop Registration Includes:\nWatercolor demonstration with Sandra Tyler\nPlein-air painting workshop\n4:00 PM group critique with Sandra\nFull $20 Pieces of Perry Paint-Out registration\nOfficial stamping\nEligibility for Paint-Out prizes and awards\nEligibility to submit artwork to the Pieces of Perry exhibition\n\nImportant: Anyone registered for Sandra’s workshop does not need to purchase the separate $20 Paint-Out registration. The $10 Quick Draw and $15 boxed lunch are separate optional add-ons. \nWORKSHOP SUPPLY LIST\nWorkshop participants should arrive prepared with their own painting supplies. \n\n8×8″ watercolor pad: \nWatercolors:\nA variety of watercolor brushes\nCup and bottle for water\nRoll of toilet paper and paper towels\nNone of these are necessary are all additional ideas: larger paper\, water pen ()\, chair or stool to sit on\, small folding table for supplies and or a wagon for carrying supplies.\n\nAdd-ons: \nBOX LUNCH from Old Souls — $15 (Tickets below)\nQuick Draw: $10 (10am on Sunday –  Tickets below)
