“Fantastic” is how The Buffalo News rates the ACWC Classic Film series. In a survey article on repertory film programming in Western New York, published July 9, 2008, writer Toni Ruberto singled out the ACWC’s ongoing series for praise.
Critic and historian Leonard Maltin has cited the ACWC film series for “carrying the torch, keeping classic movies before audiences,” adding that local film buffs never had it so good.
To see what all the shouting is about, check out the Classic Film series on Thursdays and selected Fridays at 7 pm in the East Indian Screening Room of the ACWC gallery.
