Come one; come all, to our “Stories That Cook” cookbook release party! Enjoy delicious samples of recipes that are featured in the book and conversation with cookbook contributors. Have fun discussing the “Stories That Cook” recipes with other guests, including your own special family meals and memories. Leaf through our gorgeous multicultural cookbook as you consider one for your kitchen, living room coffee table and/or for Christmas and holiday gifts! Our book is filled to the brim with mouthwatering recipes, stories from the heart, poignant memories and lovely artwork by farmworkers, their children, and CAMPS art instructors. We will have cookbooks for people to purchase who signed up early and plenty more available. Part of the proceeds from cookbook sales will be donated to the New York State Migrant Education college fund! Please come and partake in this very special event hosted by CAMPS’ Director Julia Stewart-Bittle, GLOW Traditions’ Director Karen Canning and the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts!
Made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with funds from the Office of the Governor and the NYS Legislature.
